Update on MC Forums profanity rule

Citric has started removing posts that oppose him. All the more reason to stay here.

Can we get evidence of this happening. We could do with an inside man moderator/admin on our side to check if he is censoring.

I would assume his reason for doing so is that a lot of anti-Citric posts can reasonably be considered flaming/insulting, but like Blaster said, we'd need evidence.

Fel99 apparently has a full archive of the thread.

That thread is spiraling downwards, someone I talked to in a PM the other day was talking about Citric calling him an asshole, then as soon as Homem posted about Citric reading PMs, he posted it.

I feel pretty safe from a ban there. As soon as they ban someone the entire forum will go up in outrage and there'll be a huge mess.

They won't ban you for criticizing the rule, but they might if you break it.

Update: The thread is definitely going downhill, Citric is losing steam. It basically started when Homem made his post, and after the aforementioned "asshole" image post, he lost most if not all legitimacy.

Edit: Now Citric is caught in between two groups of users in the thread, some of which are saying he proved the use of a swear word improved the tone of his post, the other that he could have used another word and got his point across.
